Presidential Elk Hunts
(Archery, Muzzleloader, Rifle, Youth, & Mobility Impaired)

We offer this hunt on private ranches and/or in limited entry areas near the Mescalero Apache Indian Reservation. These areas are carefully managed by the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish to produce an elk population with a high elk density, excellent bull to cow ratio and a high percentage of the bulls being in the upper age bracket. These areas offer a very limited number of hunters a quality hunting experience. Our muzzleloader and rifle hunters enjoyed 85% success last year, taking several bulls in the 300 to 380 B&C range. Our archery hunters enjoyed 60% success and took two bulls over 370 P&Y. These areas also have one of the highest bear densities in the state and that license is available over the counter.* The rifle, muzzleloader, youth and mobility impaired hunts are guided one hunter per guide. The archery and anterless hunts are guided two hunters per guide.
With excellent meals and accommodations this hunt is a must for the elk hunter who wants the best!
