Trophy Elk Hunts

We offer this hunt to accommodate the hunter looking for a guaranteed tag elk hunt at a reasonable price in an area with potential of producing a trophy bull. The hunt areas are GMUs in northern New Mexico managed by the New Mexico Dept. of Game & Fish for a good elk density and age structure of mature bulls. While these areas won’t produce 350 to 400 B&C bulls as consistently as areas in southern New Mexico, the chance of taking a mature five or six point bull in the 275 to 320 B&C range is good and there is an outside chance of taking a bull over 350 B&C. Some of these areas also have a good bear density and that license is available over the counter.* On parties of two to four hunters we will also apply the hunters for a tag in a couple of southern New Mexico’s premium elk areas and if they are drawn for that tag they will get the upgraded hunt at the no additional cost! We feel this hunt is an excellent value for the hunter looking for a guaranteed tag elk hunt in this price range.
