We offer this challenging off-season five day hunt on select private ranches consisting of very rugged terrain in New Mexico and West Texas. The aoudad or Barbary sheep was transplanted to New Mexico and West Texas from North Africa about 50 years ago, and have thrived in the arid environment. Over the past 20 years that we have offered this unique hunt, our clients have enjoyed an 85% success rate on SCI record book rams, with 50% taking a SCI Gold Medal trophy. Aoudad taken on this hunt also qualify for the Super Slam. Hunters stay in a motel and dine at their own expense.
